Citibike is a big scam, gobbling up parking spots because NYC wants their residents to pay more and more everyday to live here. The city wants more taxes at the expense of driving low income people out.

The same thing happened to me and I called and they told me they would fix it and they did not. Lyft Customs service is TERRIBLE

Beware Day Pass

The day pass is essentially worthless and is a means of generating coverage costs paid by consumers. You're not taking the bike home and if you use the bike service 4 times in a day, you will still pay less. The limit is still 30 minutes and phrased in a way so you are under the impression that there's no limit. The Day Pass is a complete scam used to generate coverage fees. Period.

Awful customer service! Not recomended!

We tried to book two bikes on one phone and the app would not allow it. As tourists, this is how we've done it in many cities. We could not use the bike we initially took and returned it to the nearest spot as the initial one was full. Then, we contacted Customer Service and they are refusing to refund us the money, even if we did not use the bike and paid a full 24h rate. Not recommended at all, awful and unfair customer service, terrible app.

User's recommendation: Find a better shared bike service.

If you've been able to resolve, could you please post here or post any other ways you've been able to resolve; filing a complaint, contacting an atty, etc. My family member is experiencing same and CitiBike is now claiming that they cannot locate bike and are charging for bike replacement.
